Vy Ly is an undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley, on track for graduation in May 2026. She has intended majors in biology and neuroscience, and is always looking for the newest trends as well as breakthroughs in this field. Currently, Vy is a research assistant at UCSF School of Dentistry, understanding the molecular mechanisms behind bone growth signaling pathways. She loves to learn about new advancements in medicine and the adaptation of affordable healthcare. Aside from her interest in the sciences, she is passionate in working to provide quality, accessible education in order to bridge education and opportunity gaps. Recently, she has been working as a founder and president for a growing non-profit organization, The Stemistry Project, which allowed her to lead students to hosting different events and connecting with speakers at Stanford, Brown, and Dartmouth. She aspires to pursue a career in dentistry and is working to learn more about the various fields of dental care to connect with more professionals!
