Different types of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence (AI) encompasses a wide range of technologies and applications, each serving a different purpose. Three common types of AI are Predictive AI, Interactive AI, and Generative AI.

Predictive AI focuses on analyzing data and making predictions based on patterns and trends. It uses machine learning algorithms to process large amounts of data and identify relationships between variables. Predictive AI is commonly used in various fields, including finance, healthcare, and marketing, to forecast outcomes and make informed decisions. Predictive AI are usually large ANN (Artificial Neural Networks) that are trained using Gradient of Descent, trained on past data, to predict outcoming data.

Interactive AI aims to enable natural and seamless interaction between humans and machines. This type of AI includes technologies such as virtual assistants, chatbots, and voice recognition systems. Interactive AI systems understand and respond to human input, providing personalized recommendations, answering questions, and assisting with tasks. Interactive AI can be used to play Minecraft, as an example. In such cases, a reward function rewards the AI for progress like mining and punishes the AI for misdeeds like dropping useful items.

Generative AI involves creating new content, such as images, music, or text, that is original and realistic. This type of AI utilizes deep learning models and neural networks to generate content that resembles human-created data. Generative AI has applications in art, design, and entertainment industries, where it can produce unique and creative outputs. ChatGPT, for instance, is a type of Generative AI. LLMs (Large Language Models) like ChatGPT now use the popular word bag model.

Each type of AI has its own strengths and applications, contributing to the advancement of technology in various domains. As AI continues to evolve, these different types of AI will likely become more sophisticated and integrated into our daily lives.
